Day 7 - I'm stuck!!😭

How does it feel to be hit by obstacles the very moment you start doing something? Ask me this now. The weather, the power supply, unprecedented arrivals and add to all this my laptop. Everything seems to be going against me right now.😭 Nothing much achieved today in terms of academics. This is purely because of the manufacturer of my laptop making calls all day long for details about the device. From 10 in the morning to 5 in the evening. I got calls front heir department every 30 minutes asking various details. Now, I've got more calls from the customer care of the company than my friends ever. Funny to think about this.😅 The customer support has assured me that the machine will be repaired within 4-5 working days. Now, it is unclear if they'll keep this promise or not. 😶‍🌫️ Still no reply from 'that person' yet. Maybe I'm in dangerous waters. Scary times. 😬 Nevertheless, I'm starting with my prep tomorrow with the help of my books. Starting off with JIGL...

Day 6 - And trouble strikes!🥲

Image
Just as I was getting the momentum and getting into the zone, tragedy struck. My laptop has given up and said "I'm done!" 🥲 Basically, my laptop has got some issues with its screen and so I cannot access my classes anymore. It just feels that everything is going against me at the moment. The machine had no issues till date and suddenly just went blank. By the looks of it and initial responses from the manufacturer, it seems it'll take atleast a week or so. So, it's basically a waiting game till that point. 😵 I didn't do much today again. Just was busy sorting out my books and drafting a few mails. I realised that my mail had more junk than my table. Had to sort it out before I got the 'storage issue' notification. 🙃 By the way, in a major development on a personal level, I sent this blog to 'that person'. Hopefully, I don't get blocked or anything. 🫣👉👈 Blogging from a mobile phone is much more difficult than I thought it would be ini...

Day 5 - here we go!! 🙃🙃

Image
Not a great start to the comeback wave but anyways it is a start. I just spent the day preparing the timetables and schedules for the next few days. I haven't checked any social media platforms today. Just scrolled a bit on Instagram. 😁 I'll be responding to any text messages on WhatsApp and Instagram tomorrow. I apologise if anyone messaged me, and I couldn't respond today. I'll surely respond back. 🥲 Additionally, I've begun a sort of dopamine detox. Today, I refrained from eating sweets and using social media. 😉 In terms of study, I didn't do much today to be honest. I was busy with matching the subjects with my study timings. Honestly, this was much harder than I thought it would be. Also, I deep cleaned my study area again after cleaning just the study table a few days as I was having difficulty in finding my highlighters. This coupled with my obsession of having my stationeries placed in a neat and uniform manner made it necessary. 😶‍🌫️ I had to go ou...

Day 4 - Boring, boring!! 🥱🥱

Image
A boring day!! 💤 I don't have days like these often because of my busy schedule. Honestly speaking, days like these are relaxing. There was no real stress or anything and I spent the entire day just listening to music. I've been recently listening to a lot of slow music. Music which makes you question things and music which isn't funky and loud. A lot of ghazals and songs like Kabira, Iktara, Aise Kyun, Agar Tum Saath Ho. Also, a few English songs. 😌 This one too!! Today was more about preparing myself for the climb which will start tomorrow than real study. I believe being mentally prepared for taking on tasks like these is quite essential and having done that feels great. I'm adding finishing touches to my plan for tomorrow and will be done with it before sleep. Also, I have slowly started going back to my routine of early morning study. 🏃‍♂️ I watched a lot of Olympics today and tons of cricket. It was great to Manu Bhaker win the Bronze after the weapon malfuncti...

Day 3 - Harsha Bhogle-fied 😂

Image
What a moment! What a day! ✨ I know I'm sounding Like Harsha Bhogle because such was the day. I'm generally not a man good at expressing how I feel but today it feels different. A day I've looked forward to over the last couple of months has gone down great. I do not have days like this often where I meet the few people outside my fam with whom I love to spend my time. For how much my friends have done for me, I don't think I'll be able to return it back. 🥰 Among these people, there is always that one person whom when you see, your heartbeats go up, a sense of nervousness arrives coupled with a feeling of being lost. I experienced that today for the first time since 11th March 2023. Undoubtedly this person has been key in me changing for the better over the last two years and perhaps that person might be the sole reason why you're reading this, if anyone is reading this at all. ❣️ Academically nothing much to say about for today because I spent a considerable t...

Day 2 - Getting back on track 🏃‍♂️

Image
Today was incredibly productive, to say the least. I nearly completed all the planning tasks, and now it's time for execution. I wrapped up the tasks that were partially done yesterday. I also organized all the chapters based on the subject-wise pairing I devised. Additionally, I tidied up my study table, which is a significant aspect of my study routine. I firmly believe that a clean workstation is vital for that initial burst of motivation. 😃 In addition to the planning process, I engaged in compiling cricket statistics for several players in anticipation of the India vs. Sri Lanka series beginning tomorrow. I find this task quite enjoyable. Moreover, I attempted to analyze the vulnerabilities of specific Sri Lankan players to gain a deeper insight into the match. I'm uncertain if I'll be able to watch the match tomorrow. I did catch the India Women vs. Bangladesh Women match, which was a lopsided contest with India Women clinching victory by 10 wickets. I am also keenly...

Who am I?

Image
Regular readers of my blog will grasp the 'why' behind my actions. While I'm on a mission to stay incognito, I don't fancy being an enigma to my readers. So, while I'll keep my personal details under wraps, I'm open to sharing tidbits about my preferences and the path I've traveled so far. 🙂 Academically, I've been nothing short of stellar, with 'great' meaning I've consistently scored above 95. Sure, I've hit a few bumps along the way, but bouncing back is kind of my superpower. Facing challenges head-on, refusing to throw in the towel when the going gets tough, and delivering my best under pressure are all in a day's work for me. These are the traits that I wear like badges of honor. 😉 Beyond the world of academia, I'm an ardent cricket aficionado. Not only have I swung the bat a bit, but I've also knocked it out of the park a few times. But hey, it's not just about playing; I'm the stats guru, a five-day Test matc...

Day 1 - New Beginnings! ❤️🤗

Image
In the past day, my brain's been on a marathon, sprinting from existential questions to future forecasts. And guess what? I relish this slice of life – a sprinkle of unpredictability with a heap of deep thoughts. Circling back to the crux of the matter, my day's achievements? Well, not a blockbuster day. However, I did blitz through a hefty chunk of planning and devoted the remainder to a desk detox and digital decluttering. Oh, and I broadcasted my subject breakdown and study strategy for the December showdown.   Take a peek at it right here!   ❤️ I've decided to give myself a little more downtime, just a few more days of sweet nothingness before diving headfirst into the thrilling journey of knowledge and reflection. It's been quite the vacation already, a solid 15 days of glorious leisure! 😉 In addition to my planning duties, I dived into the Reddit world to tackle some course-related queries. It's a blast to lend a hand and scoop up some fresh knowledge along t...

What's my plan for December 2024?

Image
What's my plan for December '24?   I've been brainstorming ways to prep for my next attempt, and I realized I need to tackle a few topics and review everything. Since most of the subjects are theory heavy, I'm mixing in the two practical ones to keep things interesting. Honestly, theory alone puts me to sleep! So, I'm breaking down the practical subjects and combining them with the theory ones. I'm splitting Corporate Accounting and Financial Management into two chunks, and Tax Laws and Practice into Direct and Indirect Taxes. This way, studying doesn't feel like a snooze fest! Here is how I have clubbed the Subjects: 1. Jurisprudence, Interpretation and General Laws (JIGL) and Financial Management (FM) 2. Company Law and Practice (CLAW) and Corporate Accounting (CA) 3. Setting Up of Business, Industrial and Labour Laws (SBILL) and Direct Taxes (DT) 4. Economic, Commercial and Intellectual Property Laws (ECIPL) and Indirect Taxes (IDT) 5. Capital Market ...

Hey!! ;)❤️

Hi there! I have no idea how many people will read this as I write it. To be honest, I am not sure if anyone will read this at all. But why am I writing this anyway? It's a straightforward question to me. I think that blogging is the greatest anonymous platform for me to share my thoughts and experiences related to my path into CS. For what reason is anonymous? Perhaps time will tell, but for now, I'm happy to write anonymously about a variety of subjects. Additionally, I think this is a chance for me to sharpen my written communication abilities in particular. If anyone reads this at all, I hope you enjoy it. Additionally, I welcome suggestions from all angles, so don't hesitate to ping me with your insightful remarks. If someone needs assistance, I'd be pleased to assist them. I'm wishing the best for everyone. :) 😃 Happy Learning! A bit of background about myself: I've consistently performed well in exams, with a few exceptions. Last year, I aced the CSEET ...
