The First Milestone!

Image
Heyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! ❤️🎉 What for!? We just hit 1,000 views on this blog!!!! What a journey - from 0 to 1,000 in a span of 11 months. I wanna thank each and every person who has been a part of this space -  this would never have been possible without your contributions. It still feels like a dream to reach this milestone. I know 1,000 isn't a big number for a lot of people, but for me, it just feels surreal. As someone who started with no hope of generating any views, this is nothing short of magical. I now have another example to use for 'perseverance' and 'not giving up' topics.  I hope we hit the next 1,000 in much lesser time. With that being said, I'll take your leave. Bye!  👋

Countdown to Dec 2025 - CS Professional Daily Targets Mega Thread

From Feedback to Action

Hey! Thanks for stopping by. This post is regarding a few decisions that I've taken on the basis of the suggestions of my readers. These decisions have been taken as a measure to improve the overall quality of my blog. I hope these changes bring about a positive experience for my readers. The changes are as follows: 🛑 Discontinuation of Daily Targets I've decided to not continue with the publishing of posts indicating my daily targets with immediate effect. This is done in order to avoid redundancy as pointed out by one of my readers. However, the habit of posting daily targets will continue. Instead, I’ll be updating a single post daily — a mega-thread style compilation. This post can be accessed on the  My Grind Log page. Additionally, I've decided to add emojis as markers to indicate the completion of targets. I'll be starting with this practice from tomorrow i.e. 28th June 2025. 📩 Subscribe Button Added In a bid to retain and add followers, I've added a subsc...

Mind-Set and Match!

Image
Hey Folks! I'm pretty sure that the few readers I have will be surprised to see another post this quick especially after a few posts earlier this week. This post is about mindset - something central to my formula of success. The title does have a hyphen (-) between 'mind' and 'set' which sure must have intrigued the reader I believe. The hyphen separating the word 'mind-set' is there just to bring a tennis reference. The phrase 'set and match' is commonly used in racket sports and this is a tribute to my love for tennis. As someone whose formula for success has mindset as a key component, I feel I'm in the best possible situation to highlight its importance. I hear a lot of people talk about the importance of mindset and I agree with most of them.  Throughout my educational life, I've always had the mindset of 'I can do this, no pressure' and this has always worked for me. In all the exams I had taken - except my CS Executive exams -...

Day 3 - Reaffirming Priorities! 💪

Image
Hello Readers! Welcome back after a couple of days' break due to my ongoing B.Com exams. The first two exams went okay considering the amount of efforts that I put in and my priorities at the moment. I have a 5-day break before my next exam which is on 23rd June. I will be focusing mainly on my CS Professional subjects in this window and studying for my exams in the small gaps that I get. The focus clearly remains on completing CS studies currently. The exam next week is Costing about which I don't have much idea to be honest.  Date: 18th June 2025 Day: Wednesday Targets : Drafting, Pleadings and Appearances (DPA) - Unit 2 - Lectures 7, 8, 9 and 10 and Revision Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) - Chapter 16 - Lectures 1, 2, 3 and 4 Compliance Management, Audit and Due Diligence (CMADD) - Unit 1 - Lectures 1 and 2 BCOC138 (Costing) - Block 1 Revision I've mentioned the subject names entirely for clarity but I won't repeat this.  Wishing everyone a great day ahea...

A Fragile Building called Trust! ❤️

Image
Hello Readers! This post is about a topic suggested by one of my close friends and also among the few readers of this blog. She did give me more topics but this one caught my attention the most. Hey, if you're reading this, I'll be writing on those other topics as well soon. The topic was something like criteria for trusting a person. To be more specific, are there any specific criteria for trusting someone? Is it based on past experiences or relationships? As someone whose friend circle is limited to a handful of people, I feel I can do justice to this question. My opinion may be totally different from that of my readers and I totally accept your views as well. No judging, no shaming! Trust, loyalty and synonyms of these words are very subjective. It depends on the nature of the person as well. So, my view is in some sense different yet similar to that of others. I believe that trust is something that is not in our hands to be honest. I feel that one cannot generate trust in a...

Day 2 - Getting into the Groove

Image
Hey! Good Morning! After restarting yesterday, I've made some progress and pretty much seem to be getting into the groove. But I don't want to be too confident and lapse my progress. Today, the focus again is on the B.Com subjects as my exams start tomorrow. I will be shifting my focus back to CS Professional subjects from Tuesday (17th June) as the next B.Com exam is on 23rd after two consecutive ones on 16th and 17th.  Date: 15th June 2025 Day: Sunday Targets:  BCOC135 - Revise Blocks 1-4 BEGLA137 - Revise all Blocks and solve PYQs Hoping to keep the momentum and cruise towards my targets! 🤞 Bye!

A Story of Resilience ft. South Africa

Image
Chokers to Champions: A Story of Resilience Hey! Like I stated yesterday, I'm currently not in the right frame of mind to be churning out blogs consistently at will. However, an event which occurred today has forced me to publish a post. South Africa winning the World Test Championship against Australia!  In what sense is this connected to me? I have always been a strong believer in hard work and trusting the process and fighting through the tough times. Luck is something I've started to believe in as well. But the focus has always been on working hard. This is the ideology I've followed throughout my  life and is something I intend to continue doing. Also, as someone who has been deeply involved in cricket, who has adored this game, loved this game and absolutely enjoyed watching the game, I have always taken pride in taking in the learnings the game throws at the viewers. I have also, taken immense inspiration from various figures from the game. Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Ko...

Day 1: The Beginning!

Image
Hey! As I promised yesterday, I'm back here to share my progress and targets like I did for Dec 24 exams last year. Today, I won't be focusing on CS Professional subjects but purely on my B.Com subjects as my exams start on 16th June. The focus today will mainly be on two subjects namely BEGLA137 and BCOC135. Yeah, I know it is confusing to see codes like these. Basically, the subjects are English Literature (BEGLA137) and Company Law (BCOC135). I haven't touched a book of both these subjects, so I need to quickly revise and prepare myself for the exams. Date: 14th June 2025 Day: Saturday Targets:  BCOC135 - Revise all Blocks and Practice PYQs BEGLA137 - Revise all Blocks and Practice PYQs Let’s keep the momentum going. One page at a time, one win at a time. 🙌

baby steps again!

Hey! Welcome back to my blog. I know it has been a long time since my last post and that most of my readers have forgotten about my blog. I'm really sorry for disappearing without any information. Why did I disappear? It wasn't planned; it was just that a lot of new things happened and I had to let it all soak in. I had lined up nearly 7 posts for publishing but didn't complete the final step because I felt all those posts were lacking something - something that sets my posts apart. This and the new experiences all at once made it difficult for me to hit the publish button. I knew I had to take a step back, assess my position, refine those posts and then publish them.  What were the 'new experiences'? As someone who has kept my cards close when it comes to sharing experiences, it is a bit difficult even now to open up on a platform where I have been writing for a year now. But I feel those experiences need to be shared. These mainly revolved around my trip to the No...
