cranking up the big brother energy⚡πŸ’ͺ

On a normal day which are most days, I'm generally strict and hard taskmaster. I come across as someone who likes to keep things moving and not remain static. But one a few days, by few I mean extremely few, I tend to shed that layer and keep a complete 180 nature. The only reason why I'm telling this and in fact publishing this blog is because today was one of such days. For a more relatable nature of mine, you can imagine a 'khadoos' Maths teacher. πŸ₯ΈπŸ˜

Today I was a complete 180 of my normal self. Tuning up the big brother energy a couple of times to support my younger brother and a junior of mine from school. The reason why my brother needed me was because guy scored average marks in Maths and was feeling pretty bad about it. I had a good talk with him but still didn't see things improving. So, I had to do something else. I just put my arm around his shoulder and took the little guy for a walk. And maybe as a thank you gesture, little guy said thank you. That definitely felt great given the fact that I have always been a bit too harsh on him. πŸ˜Š

The other case was me turning up and showing support for a junior of mine. I had not contacted her for the last 5 months as she was busy and today suddenly, I received her call. The trembling voice at the beginning made it clear that things weren't alright with her. Had a good talk of about 30 minutes. Maybe I found a way to help with my nervousness and overthinking as well. I, generally, prefer not to talk a lot these days. When someone says that they feel better talking to someone whom they feel is trustable, it is always a great feeling. To me, it becomes a symbol of being a successful senior. I have always been open to helping and guiding people in every possible way and to do it today feels amazing. πŸ˜Š

Anyways, it feels great to help people in this manner because I feel mental health and things around mental health aren't talked about enough. To be able to guide the younger people and be that big brotherπŸ’ͺ⚡ feels wonderful. Hopefully this changes. As we move more and more towards modernization, we should be open about the mental spaces we are in and remove the stigma that is generally connected around it. In case you have any issues, do drop it here and I'll try my best to guide you through it.  ❤️‍πŸ©ΉπŸ’

Stay loved! πŸ’œ
