do i miss her? 🤔💔

Image
From the title of this post, one may safely assume this to be about my love story or my one-sided love or whatever people wanna call it. But it isn't. The title is just there to generate a bit of curiosity and get a bit of engagement. Yeah, yeah, I'm hungry for the engagement and can't wait to become a social media influenza! 😜 Just kidding. CLICKBAIT!!! 😅😂 What is it about then? This is about the one question that I face the most. Do I feel like I'm missing out on a lot of things by doing a distance graduation and along with that doing a course which is better known for its 'single digit' passing percentage and for sucking out entertainment from the lives of students? There is no definite answer to this question according to me. At certain times, I feel YES is the answer and at other times NO. It sort of depends on the mood that I'm in. Like, if I'm content and happy with my learning and progress, I'd say NO. And, if I'm not happy with my l...

venting out my anger! 💢

Image
Not sure in what context my readers are going to take this, but I feel it is important to put it here. Just because I don't react or respond or reply to the people mocking me or making me angry doesn't mean that I won't keep the silence forever. And today was a prime example of that. One of my cousins has been constantly mocking me about me not going to offline classes, about having zero interaction and all. This has been going on for a long while now and I didn't respond to it all this while. But something clicked today. I confronted him and made him cry. How? I'll let my readers guess that. Over the last 10-11 years, I've worked on controlling my emotions, not letting them out in the public, trying to suppress it and at times simply ignoring those emotions. This has been possible largely due to the amount of cricket that I've played where been calm and composed is very important. My threshold of taunts, mockery and anger is quite high but after a certain p...

a bit of talk ❤️‍🩹

Image
I know this is a bit off topic and something I shouldn't be stressing about at the moment. What am I talking about (better say thinking about)? The thing is I was just thinking about life lately. This is something I have ignored over the last 4-5 years to solely focus on my academics, but I feel it is the right time for me to think more about this and share a bit of what I feel here.  I overthink a lot and by a lot I mean really a lot. From the movement of things around me to expressions and various countless things. Perhaps there isn't a moment where I don't overthink. For me a 'Hey' and 'Heyy' are two very different things. So are 'ok' and 'okayy'. And why did I add this here? Only so that the person reading this (if any) doesn't think that I'm mentally unstable.  So, how has life been lately? Amazing in some senses and no so amazing in a few others. Good side first, I've been playing a lot of badminton and also keeping myself e...

Day 2 - Mission December '24

Image
I'm slowly but surely starting to feel the pressure now. I'm going to dedicate the entire day towards completing lectures of TLP and ECIPL today. My major focus for the earlier part of the day would be to complete yesterday's backlog and then start with fresh topics later. After a poor start yesterday, my aim today is to start getting into my zone today. My tasks will mostly surround around TLP and ECIPL today again.  Targets: Yesterday's Screen time Laptop: 6h 55m Mobile phone: 3h Total: 9h 55m Have a great day! ❤️

Day 1 - Mission December '24

Image
Hey, Good Morning! Today I restart my prep after a long break. I have decided to start off with a two Group 2 subjects namely ECIPL and TLP. My target today is to complete all 5 Lectures of 'Overview of Customs Act' from CA Vivek Gaba sir's YouTube Channel and complete 4 Lectures of 'Legal Metrology' from CS Duniya's YouTube Channel. Apart from the Lectures. I will try to complete reading the ICSI Material of both the Chapters to the maximum extent possible. Yesterday's screen time on Laptop: 6h 36m On Mobile Phone: 2h 45m Total:10h 21m So, let's start this journey! 😊 I will post today's progress at the end of the day. Good luck! ✌️ Update Well, it hasn't been a kinda day I'd have wanted to start things off with. I have found it a bit difficult to get into my schedule and do enough study. I feel I'm letting too many things distract me at the moment. I'm gonna not let that affect me though. I just completed 1 lecture each from TLP and...

I'm back!!

After days of continuous calls and emails, my laptop has been fixed. Though, there are a few issues which will be solved within a few days all other problems have been solved and now I can start my prep again. 😮‍💨 In the meanwhile, ICSI released the results for Executive and Professional exams held in June 24. Congratulations to all the people who cleared the exams🎉. To all those people who couldn't clear it this next time, your time will come! All the best for the December attempt✌️. The results were great this time except for Group 1 of Executive (N/S). Hopefully, I too can clear it in the December attempt. 🤞 On the academic front, I haven't had much progress due to this laptop issue. Now, since this has been fixed, I expect to get going at a fast pace. Hopefully, I can complete all the remaining topics by mid-September and start revision post that especially with the writing part. ✍️ I'm going to start with CMSL and FM and get those subjects completed to at least 90%...

What a shitty service!😩😩

Image
After spending more days without publishing a blog than publishing a blog, I'm back! Don't blame me for all this, just ask my laptop manufacturers why it took so long for them to get this device repaired. 😬 How am I? I'm doing great but really frustrated at the service provided by the manufacturer. My initial issue was only a dim screen but the technician who did the service has given me more headache than relief post the service. Tons of scratches, no screws on the back panel, no LED indicators for the caps lock and num lock, a couple of bumps and so many new problems. Also, they somehow managed to botch up my touchpad and now I'm waiting for it to be repaired. And now I don't have a true Windows 11 version because they thought it would be cool to ask me to get the Windows 11 installed from a local shop who of course didn't give me a genuine one. Now, I have a Activate Windows message on the screen and neither can I connect any Bluetooth device nor can customi...

Day 8 - Finally!!😭❤️

After a couple of months of procrastination and delays, I've got some progress. Even though it's just a small step, it feels great to have some movement. 😁 Started with FM today. Completed a few pages from the Chapter Working Capital Management before I got disturbed by the unending calls from the laptop Co. I'd love to share my chapter division here but since I'm blogging with my phone these days, sharing tables and charts is difficult. I'll share the same once my laptop is repaired. I could use the PC but with I don't want to risk signing in from another device which could hamper my anonymous stay.😬 I've started completing tasks on other fronts too as I had shared earlier. Hopefully, I can maintain this till the end of the year. However, there seems to be a bit of rustiness which I'll need to wipe off.💪 And, I've still not recovered from Sat-Chi losing their QF match against Chi-Soh. I was expecting them to win especially after the first game bu...

Day 7 - I'm stuck!!😭

How does it feel to be hit by obstacles the very moment you start doing something? Ask me this now. The weather, the power supply, unprecedented arrivals and add to all this my laptop. Everything seems to be going against me right now.😭 Nothing much achieved today in terms of academics. This is purely because of the manufacturer of my laptop making calls all day long for details about the device. From 10 in the morning to 5 in the evening. I got calls front heir department every 30 minutes asking various details. Now, I've got more calls from the customer care of the company than my friends ever. Funny to think about this.😅 The customer support has assured me that the machine will be repaired within 4-5 working days. Now, it is unclear if they'll keep this promise or not. 😶‍🌫️ Still no reply from 'that person' yet. Maybe I'm in dangerous waters. Scary times. 😬 Nevertheless, I'm starting with my prep tomorrow with the help of my books. Starting off with JIGL...

Day 6 - And trouble strikes!🥲

Image
Just as I was getting the momentum and getting into the zone, tragedy struck. My laptop has given up and said "I'm done!" 🥲 Basically, my laptop has got some issues with its screen and so I cannot access my classes anymore. It just feels that everything is going against me at the moment. The machine had no issues till date and suddenly just went blank. By the looks of it and initial responses from the manufacturer, it seems it'll take atleast a week or so. So, it's basically a waiting game till that point. 😵 I didn't do much today again. Just was busy sorting out my books and drafting a few mails. I realised that my mail had more junk than my table. Had to sort it out before I got the 'storage issue' notification. 🙃 By the way, in a major development on a personal level, I sent this blog to 'that person'. Hopefully, I don't get blocked or anything. 🫣👉👈 Blogging from a mobile phone is much more difficult than I thought it would be ini...

Day 5 - here we go!! 🙃🙃

Image
Not a great start to the comeback wave but anyways it is a start. I just spent the day preparing the timetables and schedules for the next few days. I haven't checked any social media platforms today. Just scrolled a bit on Instagram. 😁 I'll be responding to any text messages on WhatsApp and Instagram tomorrow. I apologise if anyone messaged me, and I couldn't respond today. I'll surely respond back. 🥲 Additionally, I've begun a sort of dopamine detox. Today, I refrained from eating sweets and using social media. 😉 In terms of study, I didn't do much today to be honest. I was busy with matching the subjects with my study timings. Honestly, this was much harder than I thought it would be. Also, I deep cleaned my study area again after cleaning just the study table a few days as I was having difficulty in finding my highlighters. This coupled with my obsession of having my stationeries placed in a neat and uniform manner made it necessary. 😶‍🌫️ I had to go ou...

Day 4 - Boring, boring!! 🥱🥱

Image
A boring day!! 💤 I don't have days like these often because of my busy schedule. Honestly speaking, days like these are relaxing. There was no real stress or anything and I spent the entire day just listening to music. I've been recently listening to a lot of slow music. Music which makes you question things and music which isn't funky and loud. A lot of ghazals and songs like Kabira, Iktara, Aise Kyun, Agar Tum Saath Ho. Also, a few English songs. 😌 This one too!! Today was more about preparing myself for the climb which will start tomorrow than real study. I believe being mentally prepared for taking on tasks like these is quite essential and having done that feels great. I'm adding finishing touches to my plan for tomorrow and will be done with it before sleep. Also, I have slowly started going back to my routine of early morning study. 🏃‍♂️ I watched a lot of Olympics today and tons of cricket. It was great to Manu Bhaker win the Bronze after the weapon malfuncti...

Day 3 - Harsha Bhogle-fied 😂

Image
What a moment! What a day! ✨ I know I'm sounding Like Harsha Bhogle because such was the day. I'm generally not a man good at expressing how I feel but today it feels different. A day I've looked forward to over the last couple of months has gone down great. I do not have days like this often where I meet the few people outside my fam with whom I love to spend my time. For how much my friends have done for me, I don't think I'll be able to return it back. 🥰 Among these people, there is always that one person whom when you see, your heartbeats go up, a sense of nervousness arrives coupled with a feeling of being lost. I experienced that today for the first time since 11th March 2023. Undoubtedly this person has been key in me changing for the better over the last two years and perhaps that person might be the sole reason why you're reading this, if anyone is reading this at all. ❣️ Academically nothing much to say about for today because I spent a considerable t...

Day 2 - Getting back on track 🏃‍♂️

Image
Today was incredibly productive, to say the least. I nearly completed all the planning tasks, and now it's time for execution. I wrapped up the tasks that were partially done yesterday. I also organized all the chapters based on the subject-wise pairing I devised. Additionally, I tidied up my study table, which is a significant aspect of my study routine. I firmly believe that a clean workstation is vital for that initial burst of motivation. 😃 In addition to the planning process, I engaged in compiling cricket statistics for several players in anticipation of the India vs. Sri Lanka series beginning tomorrow. I find this task quite enjoyable. Moreover, I attempted to analyze the vulnerabilities of specific Sri Lankan players to gain a deeper insight into the match. I'm uncertain if I'll be able to watch the match tomorrow. I did catch the India Women vs. Bangladesh Women match, which was a lopsided contest with India Women clinching victory by 10 wickets. I am also keenly...

Who am I?

Image
Regular readers of my blog will grasp the 'why' behind my actions. While I'm on a mission to stay incognito, I don't fancy being an enigma to my readers. So, while I'll keep my personal details under wraps, I'm open to sharing tidbits about my preferences and the path I've traveled so far. 🙂 Academically, I've been nothing short of stellar, with 'great' meaning I've consistently scored above 95. Sure, I've hit a few bumps along the way, but bouncing back is kind of my superpower. Facing challenges head-on, refusing to throw in the towel when the going gets tough, and delivering my best under pressure are all in a day's work for me. These are the traits that I wear like badges of honor. 😉 Beyond the world of academia, I'm an ardent cricket aficionado. Not only have I swung the bat a bit, but I've also knocked it out of the park a few times. But hey, it's not just about playing; I'm the stats guru, a five-day Test matc...
