purely luck?

Hey! I know its been a few days since my last post, so here I'm! This post is about how a few people have seemed to turn their backs to one side of the coin and completely ignore it. Yeah, another post criticizing people. Seems like a fun thing? No. I don't like to point out the mistakes others make but sometimes you have to call a spade a spade. Its been three weeks since my result. A result which I had no hopes of going my way. A result which was totally unexpected. A result which I will cherish forever. With the result going my way, I was introduced to a new element which I honestly didn't believe much in, LUCK! Yes, I'd agree with the fact that I was lucky to clear it this time around. I didn't have any expectations of clearing it in this attempt and had started preparing for the June attempt in January itself. And to be honest, luck was something I didn't believe much in prior to the results. I have always been a strong believer of 'work hard and the re...

Hey, I cleared CS Executive in my first attempt! I did post my feelings, emotions and reactions of the day preceding the day of result. So, why not the same for the result day? I've some unpleasant news to share with my readers. My last standing kitten passed away on 27th February as a result of some rash driving by a stranger. He ran over my little pet like it didn't mean anything to him. Little guy was just sitting outside my fence on the footpath but when you're a cocky, arrogant, rash driver, it doesn't matter if the cat is one the footpath or the road. He ran over the kitten which was sitting on the footpath.  I could've posted my reactions on 25th or 26th as well but I just wanted all the hype around the result to settle down in order to gain a proper picture of my achievement. I'll be posting the same in a day or two. Stay around, bye!

done!!!!!!!!!!!!

24th February 2025. With less than 24 hours to go for my CS Executive results, things are starting to heat up a bit. I'm not anxious but there is something that's not usual. Unlike previous times, this time there is a bit of tension, a bit of pressure. I find myself in uncharted territory. For the first time in my entire life, I'm expecting a not-so-positive result. Due to what was not an ideal mindset just a week prior to the start of the exam, I now stare at a rare and first failure in my life. I can feel the heat, and with each passing moment, it's growing. From the very beginning of this journey, I knew there would come a moment when I would be beaten due to what has been my forte, i.e., knowledge and the clear presentation of it. For a big part of this journey, I know I haven't been at my best but still managed to find my way, but it seems like the time has come. When at my best, I'm an unstoppable force, but now I feel like an old warhorse who is being ask...

The Downside of Being a Topper Noone Talks About!

Image
Hey! This post is going to be a bit different from the other ones. Being a topper (I hate to be called that way 😵) or in other sense, having done marginally better than my compatriots, throughout my life, I have realized that it isn't always golden days, and there are things which people should know. This post is exactly about these things. The first and foremost thing is the pressure . People don't really talk about the pressure and expectations to do well that are there on toppers. It is assumed that things will be easy for them as they've always been. The pressure to do well in almost everything they do, every time they do it, is immense . And by immense, I really mean it. Even a slight mistake here or there is looked at as a big thing . The pressure to be perfect, to be the best is never talked about. Imagine going into an exam where irrespective of the level of the examination, you're expected to ace it. Mind-boggling stuff, to be honest. 🤯 The other thing is...

happy new year!

To all my beloved readers, a belated happy new year! I know I've been late with the wishes but don't blame me for it. Blame the troublesome health and constant travels over the last week for that. Anyways coming back to the point, I hope this year is a fruitful one with a lot of success and tons of happiness and learnings and experiences. As someone who loves to review my plans and progress, I'm planning to post a year in review kinda thing shortly. I accept that it is generally done before the new year commences but I could not. Sorry for that! Again, wishing everyone a very happy new year! Bye! ❤️

honest feelings!

A day to go for the biggest test of my life. With just a day to go for my Executive examination, things are getting heated. Heated to an unimaginable level. Throughout my life, I've always treated exams the way they should be treated. Just as an examination. I've ensured that I don't make my life entirely about exams. I've always been the coolest customer when it came to exams with no pressure. Yes, there has always been the slightest pressure about topping the exams but nothing serious. But things are a complete a 180 now. I'm tensed to the extreme extents and feel the pressure, the heat. It is a time where things have been quite contrary to my previous approach towards exams. I feel pressure equivalent to what one feels when they're about to step on to the Melbourne Cricket Ground where nearly 90,000 Australians are ready to hound you. I've not been able to sleep well nor eat well over the past few days. The fear of exams, a thing which was among the rares...

Hey. This blog is just to update about the untimely death of my beloved cat. Little champ breathed his last today at around 13:00. I was introduced to him a couple of weeks ago by a cat in my neighborhood. In these two weeks, he became the family's favorite. He used to entertain us with his quirky actions. Everybody who met this little guy was instantly drawn towards his calm and loving nature. From hiding behind the trees to hiding between the shrub garden, little champ was full of energy and enthusiasm. I was the first to hold him when his mother brought him to our home and for whatever reason I was the last one to hold him as well. It has been a few hours since his death but even the slightest action reminds me of him. He was just a few months old. Wherever you are, stay blessed champ! You'll always be my favorite!! I can't write any further about my little champ because of the grief. Even this brief message has been written over a 3-hour period.  🪦🌹

self-doubt round 1

Hey! It's been a few days since I uploaded anything on my blog and hence, I feel I should. First and foremost, I have absolutely no idea what this blog is going to be about. I'll be adding some random things that I feel like sharing. Basically, I'll be sharing miscellaneous things for which I cannot do another blog post. So, here we go!

day 38

Good Morning Folks! 🌄 After an eventful day yesterday, it is time to get back on track and complete a few targets. Date: 25th October 2024 Targets:  🎯 CMSL : SEBI ICDR Regulations (6 Lectures) JIGL : Sources of Law (2 Lectures) ECIPL : Foreign Trade Policy (2 Lectures) Today's song is Main Pal Do Pal ka Shair Hoon by the great Mukesh ji. This song, about a poet and his questions, from 1976 has travelled all the way to 20s thanks to the immortality and the greatness of this song and also M.S. Dhoni. I'm always reminded by this song that there will be some day when M.S. will play his last game of cricket (or maybe he has). The fact that this song questions mortality and has become for M.S.'s unavoidable retirement, which is again a sign of the same, is astonishing.  ❤️ 💛   Wishing everyone a productive day. Bye!  👋

day 37

Good Morning People! 🌄 Interesting day today as I have a meeting to attend amid all the hustle and bustle of academics. Date: 24th October 2024 Targets:  🎯 JIGL : Civil Procedure Code (Full) SBILL : Limited Liability Partnerships (Full) and Setting up of Business Outside India (Full) IDT : Basics of GST (Full) Today's song is Kun Faya Kun from the film 'Rockstar' by Mohit Chauhan, Javed Ali and A.R. Rahman.  This is among those few songs which makes one rethink life decisions and helps people at their lowest. A wonderful composition that has helped me and millions to make better decisions, get out of troubles and find solace and peace when at the lowest.  ❤️‍🩹 ❤️   Wishing everyone a successful day. Bye!  👋

day 36

Good Morning Folks! 🌄 Things getting tough but I have been finding ways to get things going. Date: 23rd October 2024 Targets:  🎯 JIGL : Civil Procedure Code (Full) and Sale of Goods Act - 1 (Revision) ECIPL : Overseas Direct Investment (3 Lectures) CMSL : Basics of Capital Market (Revision) and SEBI ICDR Regulations (3 Lectures) SBILL : MSMED (Full) Today's song is Lehra Do from the film '83' by Arijit Singh. When one listens to this song, they may not feel much but when they see the video of it and get a bit of background, then you start feeling goosebumps. A song which energises the entire Indian Cricket team after two dejecting losses in the 1983 WC and the subsequent triumph against all odds.  ❤️   Wishing everyone a productive day ahead. Bye!  👋

day 35

Good Morning Folks!  🌄 Another busy day. It's getting tight, isn't it? Date: 22nd October 2024 Targets:  🎯 JIGL : Civil Procedure Code (Full) and Criminal Procedure Code - I (Revision) ECIPL : FCRA (Full) CMSL : SEBI Takeover Code (Full) and SEBI Act - I (Revision) Today's song is Yeh Jo Des Hai Tera by AR Rahman from the movie 'Swades'. A beautiful song which invokes a connect to our roots and creates a sense of longing for our homeland. This song, at least for me, is a reminder that we won the T20 World Cup this year. I remember seeing a few edits of Surya Kumar Yadav's catch with this song. An intricately created masterpiece by the legend himself, A.R. Rahman.  ❤️ Wishing everyone a great day. Bye! 👋

day 34

Good Morning Folks! 🌄 After a pretty ordinary Sunday all thanks to the India V New Zealand test match ending the way it ended, it's time to crank things up a bit. Date: 21st October 2024 Targets:  🎯 JIGL : Civil Procedure Code (8 Lectures) ECIPL : FCRA (1 Lecture) CLP : Charges (Revision) Today's song is Saiyyan by Kailash Kher. A song which portrays the longing, pain and ecstasy experienced in a divine relationship. This song can be interpreted in both, a romantical as well as a spiritual sense.  ❤️   Have a great day. Bye!  👋
